Tintilla is a family run, 25 acre vineyard situated in the heart of Hunter Valley wine growing area.
Tintilla predominately grow red wine grapes so the name of the vineyard is appropriate. Tintilla is an old world
term for red wine.
You will also find that olives are grown at Tintilla and hand picked, de-bittered and fermented prior
to bottling with various traditional herbs and spices. They also have Hunter olive oils from local producers for
tasting at the cellar door.
Tintilla utilise the wine not wanted for bottling and use it to make both red and white wine vinegars.
These vinegars are also available for tasting and purchase at the cellar door.
From season to season they also make fig jams, sell honey from local bee keepers, and make mustards using their verjus.
